Yesterday was my last day working in the department. It is because it will be the start of my final internship for the next 4 months.
Firstly I have to say:
"THANK YOU, LORD! for allowing me to go to Beyond FSC for the next 4 months" *shouting*
I have been hoping to go to Beyond for my internship because there seems to be an unspeakable connection to this place. I was so blessed to be given the opportunity to conduct an interview with one of the youth worker and was deeply inspired by his love and passion in working with the youths. The environment isn't very fantastic but it does not bother me. It is the work and people whom I am going to meet and make an impact to that matters. The feeling of anticipation makes me pray more and harder because I dunno what to expect. Will I cry? Will I create a big mistake for being there ? But it might FUN and COOL! I dun dare to set a high expectation and only get discouraged and sad when it does not seems as expected.
Anyway, I do know that I am working for GOD and not for man. No matter how big or glorious of a work I have done, if without love, nothing matters. I would like to take on a humble heart with love and faith to bless the individuals who have and will enter into my life to make a difference in me too.
"A perfect love drives out all fear"
My leaving from the department for the next 4 mths cannot be compared with those who might be leaving for the next 2 years. As we thought about it, I might not even be around when they return from their studies. Wow, Time is really going to fly when there is an event going through in a life. We were just calculating our age when we meet again and it seems really scary because we will be so much older. From being a Junior- Senior, Being supervised- Too supervise. However it is important to do things that we really enjoy and has an intrintic meaning to us. It is then we might be able to know that we have live our life to the fullest and there might be no regrets if we pass away.
For me, I hope to score points in HEAVEN and experience love and be loved.
I think there might some who feels that they do not have intrinic meaning in their life.
Do you often ask yourself these questions but no answers ?
-" What do I really like to do?"
-"What's my fav colour?" (realised that it is everchanging, haha!)
-"What do I wan to be soon, I am 25 years old readi"
-"Shld I pursue this passion, is it really what I wan to see myself doing"
-"I think my passion is 'blah blah blah', but is it really? I like not very good at it leh"
I realised that there might answers, but the answer might not be now. It is because there might be something in your life that might not have 'clicked' yet to bring about that realisation. Just like the saying "It is never too late to learn" Similarly it is never too late or often to ask ourselves such questions. There are some people who discover their passion only really late in their life, and the amazing thing is that they put their discovery into action. Are you ready to pursue and work on your passion and talent (showing it in your action) to meet challenges and failures if you realise it? What I am trying to say is that it is never too late to discover what's you passion. Maybe if you allow God to direct your discovery channel, you dunno what you might be called or created to live for and do in life...... hehehe!
I dun have the actual definition of what passion means, but this is what I thought it might be

"It is about loving what you are doing and carry the tasks with great zeal and enthusiaum. Despite the challenges, failures or maybe you feel that your body has reached its limit, there is still a calling to press on because you believe in it"
God, I would like to also ask,
" How can I be a blessing to the new environment that you have graciously allow me to be in?"
