Today is such a quiet saturday. Got up as early as 8.30am, chat with my parents for a while and then went to the bank to get my bank draft. I have delayed my this semester of school fees but Thank God, the lecturers and coodinators are not chasing me for it. I guess it is because I was their first batch of students but later to graduate because of being part time. The familiarity and trust has been built, there is no way and reason for me running away. I had decided to head for the bank early because to aviod the crowd who might be all- round excited to deposit their paycheck and cash into their account too.
I was in a dilemma of whether to draw the draft because the exchange rate was higher than usual- 1.18 (6 months ago) vs 1.2049 (present). Not sure how long and when will it flucuates again, or will the rate fall lower. Called mother for consultation and calculated the differences.
In the end I drew the bank draft of 2990 aus converted sing 3600 for 2 modules. My heart aches as I told the bank teller, Margarent, to draw me the draft. In total I will be save $100 if the rate falls, I thought not much a difference bah, so change bah. No matter wat circumstances might arise, the draft still have to be drawn. I am going to avoid MONEY Xchange from now on.
I guess today is going to be a quiet and solidute saturday. Just Alicia, Foo, Simin and God! hehe.
So far I am enjoying my saturday being quiet and keeping the pace slow and being able to choose what I wan to do.
