A couple of days ago, I spoke to a friend via msn. Something she mentioned really convicted me at that momen right until now.

My fren: " I am really tired and wish I could just dropped everything and fly to London to be
where she is."

Me: " Sure you can, it depends on whether if you want to."

My fren: "My parents will be disappointed in me again and many things to say about me."

Me: "Explain to them nicely and I am sure they will listen"

My fren: "Your way works for your parents but does not mean it will work for all !"

-Pause-

Me: "Your right!"

*I'm sorry my fren for being selfish*

So many times I overlooked the fact that everyone's life is different and assume that everything will be pretty with the similar potion. But it does not work this way. As I continue my work with the youths and their families, I see how others live their life. It is not because they want to live this way, but they do not have a choice because their way of living is a form of survival not to be harmed and to be protected. Their ways might not seem right, however wat is right to survive in an environment like this. I am very fortunate to be born into a family who is not able to live luxuriously or often going crazy over monetary issues, but the unique Love is enough to allow understanding and patient among each of us as we grow up and grow old together.

I stumbled upon this music video and the lyrics accompanied with the video speaks enough of how I feel towards everyone and also to myself. I always wish I could just dance everything away. Just be myself and dance for no one is looking.

I Hope You Dance
As sung by Lee Ann Womack Music and Lyrics by Mark D. Sanders/Tia Sillers Copyright © 2000, Uni/Mca Nashville. All Rights Reserved.from the album,
I Hope You Dance

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
But always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed

I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes,
I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give fate a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances
But they're worth taking Lovin' might be a mistake
But it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart
Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out
Reconsider
Give the heavens above
More than just a passing glance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their years and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)

I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance

Dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
(Wants to look back on their years and wonder)
I hope you dance
(Where those years have gone)
(Tell me who)

I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their years and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)
