I was unable to click and identify with the circumstances raised by my classmates to in class for community work. It is not because I dono about the cases and programs they run, but can feel that they are the experts in the community. They have gone through the shit and bitch of the community and their manangement. I realised they seems to be more creative than I thought. They are able to work around things and not get caught up with the nitty gritty issues. Their struggles i cannot understand, but I guess I would prefer clinical work with my clients.
There are some ideal views I have, but I learnt that I cannot impose my ideas on others. In an area of work, I meet with different people who come together with different agenda and piorities in their area of work. My role is to make a difference and help them to see my passion and the reason for why i am doing things in a certain way. Just like God who has sent his son, JESUS CHRIST, to die on the cross for me. Why did he do that ? The entire world might find him stupid and foolish because nobody asks him to die for him or her. But God knows why he is doing it and He was not bothered by wat others think.
In life everything is all about CHOICES. I just watched 'TAKE THE LEAD' with my sister on thursday (the opening night). It was based on a true story. Many parts of the movie left a deep impression in me, however Since i am thinking about choices, I shall talk about this part of the movie. Perrie (The spanish dancer instructor)volunteered to use dance to teach a bunch of believed to be labelled as 'Incorrigible' teens. It was a radical idea but Perrie's passion turns into action and it has given him enough patience to understand the labelled teens. The teens were very disappointed and embarrassed when they have been put down by the professional and high end group of dancers. But quote from Perrie.....
Teens: "Why are u back?"

Perrie:"Do you wat I see in this room?"
(Teens just stared and shake heads lightly)
Perrie:"I see choices to be made in this room. Do you like dancing? Then you are a dancer if you like."
Such passionate and truthful words. Often we forget wat drives us into wat and why we are doing certain things. Only you know why YOU made the choice. There is no right answer in life, but it is all about choices.
Father daddy, I thank you that I have the choice to Love you and allow u into my life. Because I know that you have been guiding me in each stage of my life.
Today you have given me the ability and capability to work. Also you have protected from any harm or danger.
I want to thank you for your grace and love always upon me.
